Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Satya is operated by its founders in Canada. Contact: hello@satya.co
2. Information we collect
- Demo callers: your phone number (E.164), a hash of your IP address, timestamp and consent record, call transcript and duration, and call outcome. We never store your raw IP address.
- Business subscribers: business name, contact email, billing information (processed by our payment provider), and call data for your assigned number.
- Website visitors: standard server logs (request path, timestamp, country). We use Cloudflare analytics only.
3. How we use your information
- To place the demo call you requested and log the outcome.
- To operate the receptionist service for subscribing businesses.
- To comply with legal obligations (do-not-call lists, CRTC telemarketing rules).
- To improve the AI agent's performance.
4. Do-not-call and opt-out
If you say "stop", "do not call", or "remove me" at any point during a call, your number is immediately added to our internal do-not-call list and we will never call it again. We retain do-not-call records for at least 3 years and 14 days as required by the CRTC. You can also request removal by emailing hello@satya.co.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with our infrastructure providers (Cloudflare, Twilio, ElevenLabs) under data processing agreements, and only as required to operate the service. Call transcripts are processed by ElevenLabs for speech-to-text and AI response generation.
6. Data retention
Demo call records are retained for 12 months. Do-not-call records are retained for 3 years and 14 days. Business subscriber data is retained for the duration of the subscription plus 90 days.
7. Your rights
Under PIPEDA and provincial privacy laws, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements). Contact hello@satya.co to exercise these rights.
8. Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Phone numbers used in demo calls are hashed before storage where possible. We operate on Cloudflare's global network. We use least-privilege access controls and never expose database credentials to browser clients.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. Significant changes will be emailed to subscribers. The date at the top of this page shows the last update.
